Our Team
At Nimble Paws, every pet is cared for by a dedicated clinician — supported by a team of qualified physiotherapists and a rehabilitation technician who share the same commitment to precision, compassion, and movement-focused care.
All clinicians at Nimble Paws are Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioners (CCRP) or are completing certification through the Veterinary Academy of Higher Learning (VAHL), University of Tennessee.

Joey Ng
Founder & Lead Physiotherapist
BSc (Hons) Physio, CCRP, Intl Dip CO (ongoing)
Joey is a licensed human physiotherapist with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin and is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) from the Veterinary Academy of Higher Learning, University of Tennessee. Her journey into animal rehabilitation began with her two dachshunds, whose well-being inspired her to bring human physiotherapy principles into pet care.
With nearly 10 years of experience treating orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, and sports-related conditions in both public and private healthcare settings in Singapore, she brings strong expertise in manual therapy, biomechanical analysis, and clinical reasoning to her work with animals. As founder and Lead Physiotherapist of Nimble Paws Physiotherapy, she has spent the past two years helping dogs and cats regain movement, strength, and comfort through structured, individualised rehabilitation.
Joey is also completing her International Diploma in Canine Osteopathy certification to further refine her manual therapy skills and expand her approach to rehabilitation. She believes pets deserve the same standard of structured, evidence-informed rehabilitation that humans receive, with treatment guided by clinical reasoning, movement quality, and each patient's individual needs.
Outside of work, Joey enjoys running, strength training, cooking, and relaxing with her two dachshunds, who remind her daily why movement matters.
Samantha Zhang
Small Animal Physiotherapist
BSc Physio, CCRP
Samantha is a licensed human physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia and is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP). She brings seven years of experience in neurological and amputee rehabilitation from the acute hospital setting in Singapore.
Since 2018, she has worked with individuals with spinal cord and brain injuries, neurodegenerative disorders, and lower-limb amputations. She also ran an amputee rehabilitation clinic, guiding patients from pre-prosthetic preparation through prosthetic training and long-term adaptation. Her interest in movement and recovery eventually led her to animal physiotherapy, where she saw how principles from human rehabilitation could be applied to help animals regain function and independence.
Drawing on her neurological and amputee rehabilitation background, Samantha brings strong expertise in movement retraining, functional rehabilitation, and clinical reasoning to her work with animals. She has a particular interest in supporting neurological and mobility-impaired patients, helping them rebuild coordination, strength, and confidence through structured rehabilitation.
Outside the clinic, Samantha enjoys aerial hoop, padel, and spending time with her adopted Jindo, Mungoh 🐕✨.
